GOOGLE DIGITAL NEWS INITIATIVE
The institute has been established on a long tradition of critical thinking. This reflects in a wide-ranging set of examined themes. From the smallest lies to the societal fundamental ideas, from cybercrimes to copyrights, from biological mimicry to deception, from language to love and from the problem of the constitutional acts to corporate fraud. Our research is thus a response to societal developments and we seek to uncover solutions that can enhance the ability to determine the outcomes of individuals own actions. This ability is essential for the freedom to think unorthodox ideas, which allows innovative scientific answers and enables unique ideas to flourish.
SCIENTIFIC CONTENT ANALYSIS METHOD
While the body is constantly striving to hide the symptoms of truth, which can manifest themselves in the form of ticks, insomnia, nervousness and so on, it is impossible to deceive language.
The use of visual stimuli in polygraph testing reaches back to the very beginning of the scientific era of detecting lies with polygraph. Earliest known praxis and experiments with the use visual stimuli are from the Tosseti case, where Italian criminologist and physician, Cesare Lombrosso, used a victim’s photograph as a visual stimulus. In our region prof. dr. Zvonimir Roso, recognized as a founder of former Yugoslav polygraph praxis, introduced this method and administered such test.
APPLICATION OF SCAN METHOD TO AN AUTOMATED ANNOTATION PLATFORM
One’s statement isn’t just a construction of letters, words and sentences. It is a tool for men’s interaction in everyday living, full of truth, lies and everything falling in between. Detecting these categories upon automated platform of using artificial intelligence is a higher level of verifying the coherence between one’s spoken word and his truth deliverance.
